Kaizen Resilience Group’s Managing Director and Founder Mark Shortman, has a professional career spanning 25 years. Having lived in 14 countries and worked in over 50 across Asia, Africa, the Americas, Europe and the Middle East, Mark brings together diverse and multicultural experiences.

With a track record of successfully delivering on strategic and transformation initiatives, Mark has overseen strategic projects and business expansion efforts, aiding and advising Fortune 500, FTSE and ASX-listed organisations.

Mark has broad business experience, having successfully led consulting and service providers in Africa, supporting foreign governments and private businesses in the areas of Security, Resilience, Scenario Planning, Shared Services and Health, Safety and Environment.

Mark has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, and is a certified Green Belt, Lean and Agile Six Sigma practitioner.
